When the dome of the Taj Mahal is stolen, then a dinosaur skeleton from the Smithsonian, Zack and Ivy track Carmen to Komodo Island. There, they discover she is bent on creating the world's only living dinosaur - for a one-of-a-kind pet.
When Mark Twain's writing desk and Charles Dickens' ink well are stolen, the detectives track Carmen to Rudyard Kipling's India. There, they deduce that the thefts can mean only one thing. Carmen is going to pen her autobiography. But her plan for the book's final chapter ... her most audacious crime of all... must be stopped. She's going to steal the Acme Detective Agency itself!
Carmen makes off with the Sydney Opera house. This theft is followed by her stealing the "talents" of several world ranked musicians. Soon our detectives realize Carmen plans to steal the world's airways and broadcast the ultimate concert, starring herself.
Carmen steals a series of items which the detectives soon deduce are all connected to theater. But when they try to bring the curtain down on Carmen, they realize she's using every theatrical device in the book to enable her to steal the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Greece and stage her own production ... location TBA!
Carmen steals the smile from the Mona Lisa, along with portions of several other famous works of art, in order to create the ultimate Carmen Sandiego Masterpiece.
Carmen steals Stonehenge, several other mysterious ancient items, and finally the Arecibo Telescope in Puerto Rico. It's all in a wild attempt to contact extraterrestrials ... Carmen Sandiego style! If she succeeds, the stars in the sky won't be safe from this master thief.
