DVD
Shows the human side of victims and participants of the British invasion of Tibet in 1904. A young Chinese girl escapes from a religious sacrifice and is taken in by an old Tibetan woman and her herdsman son. They rescue two British men from the aftermath of an avalanche and take them to the region's ruler and his proud daughter to determine the foreigners' fate. One Brit remains in the valley to recover and is pleasantly overwhelmed by the Tibetans' kindness and innocence. After leaving the valley, he returns with an imperialistic commander and countrymen to invade and massacre the innocent.
